Beeba is an easy solution to pay for shared restaurant bills when you dine out with friends

An app that I designed for an elevator pitch competition at Boston College. I executed the full design process including user interviews, market research, user paths, wireframes, mockups, and interactive mockups.

Problem

Beeba solves problems that emerge when multiple people dine out at a restaurant and decide how the check will be split and paid for. Challenges arise when diners do not pay with cash and desire to pay their portion of the meal with a credit card.

Solution

Beeba allows diners to pay only their portion of the meal directly from their mobile device. Diners can select which items to pay for, including shared items such as appetizers. Each diner’s final tab will automatically calculate tax and the diner can select the tip he will pay without affecting other diners on the shared bill.
